Empowering Communities Through Skill Development

Empowering People. Building Skills. Creating Futures.

Empowering People. Building Skills. Creating Futures.

At Preana Empower, we believe in uplifting communities by bridging the gap between potential and opportunity. As a proud participant in initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), our events—such as this Kaushal Mela—bring together local talent, expert guidance, and real opportunities to promote skill-based growth and self-reliance.

About Prerna

Origin and History

Prerna was the culmination of the hard work and dedication of a group of young social development professionals who dared to make social work as a career. The unorganized efforts of these youths took a concrete shape and were christened as Prerna Jan Kalyan Samiti. In order to make the effort this small forum was given a legal status by registering it under the M. P. Societies Registration Act 1973 in 2015. In the initial stage it was acting as a Youth Development Centre. Gradually it has been evolved as an Skill Development and Research Centre.

Rural Women Rising

Women and young girls from the local area are seen participating attentively in the session, which aims to educate them about health, self-reliance, education, and their rights. Programs like this play a crucial role in uplifting rural women, fostering confidence, unity, and social awareness. Through such initiatives, women are encouraged to become active participants in their communities and contribute to their families' and society's development.
